Who Is Abdul Rahman Azam?
Abdul Rahman Azam is a Full Stack AI Engineer from Karachi, Pakistan. He is the founder of FAST Wheels, an AI carpooling platform on WhatsApp, and of AI Season, a live bootcamp that teaches Pakistani students to build AI agents. He builds AI products end to end: agents and multi-agent systems with LangGraph, LangChain and Google ADK, MCP servers, WhatsApp bots, and the React, Node.js, Python and FastAPI apps around them.
This Abdul Rahman Azam is not Abdul Rahman Hassan Azzam (1893–1976), the Egyptian diplomat who was the first Secretary-General of the Arab League.

Education
Abdul Rahman Azam grew up in Karachi. He scored 98.12% in Matric (Computer Science) at Happy Palace School and earned an A+ in Intermediate Pre-Engineering at Adamjee Government Science College (2021–2023). In August 2023 he started the BS Artificial Intelligence program at FAST NUCES Karachi (National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences), where his coursework includes data structures, algorithms, operating systems, databases, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
What He Has Built
FAST Wheels (fastwheels.app) — An AI carpooling platform that lives inside WhatsApp. Students message a bot and an AI assistant matches riders and drivers by route and time. It connects 2,500+ FAST NUCES students.
AI Season (aiseason.tech) — A Pakistan-focused live online bootcamp on AI agents, taught in Urdu and English. It covers LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, tool calling, guardrails and production deployment. Cohort 01 ran from 1 July to 12 August 2026.
Work Experience
- AI/ML Intern, REON Energy (Karachi, February–May 2026) — built rule-based AI decision workflows with LLM tool-calling that turn business constraints into deterministic approval logic.
- Backend Engineer (contract), BoxTech (remote, Dubai, January–February 2026) — built and maintained backend APIs and server-side logic for production applications.
- Student Lab Assistant, FAST NUCES (2025) — taught Object-Oriented Programming and Programming Fundamentals to 50+ students.
Other Projects
Sir Jee — A live AI tutor for MDCAT and ECAT students that turns a topic into an animated whiteboard lesson, narrates it in Urdu or English and then quizzes the student. Built on a 3-agent Gemini pipeline for research, lesson planning and assessment, with WebSocket voice streaming.
NarrativeVerse — A multi-agent story engine built for the GenAI Hackfest × Datathon, where AI characters with their own memory and emotions act out a story run by an AI Director on LangGraph.
CivicLens — A civic-complaint platform where citizens report issues by web, voice note or WhatsApp, and AI categorizes each report and scores its severity.
VisionRAG — A multimodal RAG assistant that answers questions over documents and images using OCR, embeddings and Pinecone, with 1,000+ indexed chunks.
Token Tracker — A VS Code extension, published on the Visual Studio Marketplace, that tracks GitHub Copilot usage against monthly token budgets.

Leadership
Abdul Rahman Azam ran live machine learning sessions for the 700+ member ML Toppers community. He has also been Automation Head at IEEE and Cryptocurrency Head at the Developer Student Club at FAST NUCES.
